Botho Strauss' SEVEN DOORS
Death is a release from the impressions of the senses, and from desires that make us their puppets, and from the vagaries of the mind, and from the hard service of the flesh.
Seven Doors is a dark comedy that investigates the desires and fears of ordinary people before they pass over the threshold to a ‘better world’.
Written by award winning German playwright Botho Strauss, Seven Doors is hilarious and strange, powerful yet underwhelming, sad and funny; and when it’s all over will leave you filled with a tremendous sense of relief.
Directed by Artist-in-Residence Stefanos Rassios (ORESTEIA, ATTEMPTS ON HER LIFE, HEDDA) and starring the Level 3 BA (Hons) Actors, SEVEN DOORS promises to be a poignant and funny reflection on the changes and transformations of life.
